What an ODP deck looks like once FileConcat has read it
A three-slide sample deck. Each slide comes back under its own heading, and the slide the author named keeps its name.
<file path="welcome-week.odp" language="odp"><![CDATA[ # Slide 1 Welcome week Your first five days at Harbor Supplies # Slide 2: Day one Day one Collect your badge at reception Laptop setup with IT at 10:00 Lunch with your team # Slide 3 Who to ask Pay and leave: Priya Shah Orders and stock: Dana Ruiz ]]></file>
Sample deck, read by FileConcat 2.9.
What comes through, and what does not
In the text
- The text of each slide, and a chart as a table of its data. Text the master page prints on every slide comes once, at the top. A slide the author named carries its name. A hidden slide is read and marked (hidden).
Not read
- A chart or diagram that exists only as a picture.
65 real files. markitdown does not read it.
Forty decks, one file to paste
Drop a folder of decks and they come back as one text file, each under its own name, with a token count for the whole set. An assistant that caps attachments counts it as one.

Common questions
Is my deck uploaded to a server?
Not to us. FileConcat reads the deck in your browser and there is no account to create. The only upload is the one you choose to make, when you paste or attach the text at your assistant.
Are hidden slides read?
Yes, and marked (hidden), so you can tell which slides the audience never saw.
Does text on every slide repeat?
No. Text the master page prints on every slide comes once, at the top, instead of once per slide.
What happens to charts and pictures?
They are not described. A chart is a picture, so a number that exists only in a chart is not in the text. Check the chart's figures against the source before you rely on them.
Can I get plain text without tags?
Yes. Set Format to Plain before you copy or download. The tags go, and each file sits between two rules with its name, under a short summary and the file list.
Can I convert many decks at once?
Yes. Drop several files or a whole folder. They come back as one text file with each deck under its own name, so an assistant that limits attachments takes them as one.
